Tolerances
Ink and gouache, 8x8x1, 2021
These images switch between realistically depicted everyday tools and those same tools deconstructed and rearranged with fanciful introductions of pseudo scientific/math notations which seem to mean something but really do not.
I was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Colorado, Germany, Pennsylvania and California. Always being the new kid left me feeling like the outsider, which is both difficult and freeing.

After receiving a B.F.A. from the University of Southern California, I moved to Seattle to attend the M.F.A. program at the University of Washington.

I have exhibited at the Whatcom Museum, CoCA, EAFA, Bellevue Art Museum, Theater Schmeater, and Seattle Public Theater. My work is in public collections in Shoreline, Auburn and Kent.
