Paper is my preferred material to create my artworks in printmaking, drawings, mixed media and water media.
I also enjoy working in gestural drawing, with black ink or watercolor, because of its spontaneous and exciting nature. Investigating and applying different techniques allow me to keep on exploring and discovering new directions, integrating a new concept. It is a collaborative interaction between me, the materials I use and the process. It is my belief that all the internal and external visual stimulus around us renews itself constantly, like life itself, and that inspires me to keep renewing myself and my creativity.
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, of Lithuanian background and I grew up with the influence of my parents culture and language and those of my native country. In my early teens I was admitted to the National School of Fine Arts and after 7 years of studies I graduated with a major in drawing.Soon after I traveled to Spain to continue my discovery of Europe and Art, and several months later to the discovery of another new world and language: America. A longtime Seattle resident,I have participated in numerous exhibits in Seattle and the West Coast. My Studio is located in the Northeast part of town.
