Acrylic painting, 27x16x1, 2014
I’m inspired by the digital age that has become the core fuel of how we live. Computer Programming code writing is an art form in my eyes. I've been an artist my entire life who embraces all types of painting, photography and writing. Call me a girl geek and I’m proud to be one as my employment has been in tech for decades. My acrylic paintings/sculptures display my love of modern/pop art combined with science, Seattle architecture, math, high tech, English slang, all mixed together with my quirky outlook on life.
Babs Fulton was born in Spokane, Washington and escaped to Seattle in the late 80's. Her work is primarily acrylic paint, paper collage and a growing interest in found object 3D metal /computer parts sculpture.
Her art life began with drawing and painting in elementary school and she studied pre-architecture and fine art at Washington State University.
Bab’s art has been displayed at the Gigantic Bicycle Festival and in venues including The Vera Project, and the Tacoma Art Museum.
