Collage on paper from vintage materials.

Collage is like recycling, turning old images into something new and unique, something uninteresting or even mildly interesting into something more interesting, inspiring, weird, or grotesque. I appreciate the aesthetics of vintage advertising and style. I rework it into surreal landscapes or didactic themes. I work with analog techniques using printed paper source materials (books, magazines) and I create some collages digitally as well.

I'm a self-taught visual artist from Anchorage, Alaska. I've had solo exhibitions and group shows at galleries in Alaska, Washington, and California. My work has been licensed for album covers for several indie bands in the US, Canada, Germany, and the UK. I'm always looking to learn new techniques and find inspiration from my fellow members, and I welcome connections for collaboration.
