Movement into the Brightness
Acrylic on Canvas, 36”/36”/1.5”, 2024
I am mostly inspired by various cultural mythological subjects and happenings, such as “How the universe and the world were created”. Everything in the universe was set up in balance against imbalance; e.g. darkness in chaos, brightness to renewal, and birth to death. The universe and life is within this vicious cycle of contrasts. While all of these contradictions have been occurring since the universe was in existence, there is always renewal. The feathers symbolizes the renewal. There is no end or beginning, only regeneration in the universe and the world.
