During the past two years I have focused on abstract work exploring compartments of color and texture using found materials. Is each compartment of color, texture, or pattern akin to a moment of our lives---the coming and going of our breaths---inhale, exhale? Do we wrestle to title the entire picture, or find comfort in experiencing each moment, letting the picture take its shape?

My life-long passion for art making currently focuses on mixed media and collage.
